Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Botox will last 3-4 months, but it can vary from person to person.

  • ZRT testing, which is a type of saliva-based hormone test, is often considered better than traditional lab blood testing because it measures "bioavailable" hormones in saliva, which more accurately reflects the active hormone levels that are readily accessible to the body's tissues, providing a more precise picture of hormonal imbalances compared to just looking at total hormone levels in the blood.

ZRT testing is often used for more personalized, functional medicine approaches to health, focusing on hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and overall wellness optimization. It's particularly useful for individuals seeking to track and optimize their hormones over time

  • Ozempic

  • Semaglutide is a medication that helps with weight loss by mimicking the action of a natural hormone in your body called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This hormone has several effects that contribute to weight loss:

Appetite Reduction: Semaglutide helps reduce hunger by acting on the brain's appetite control centers. It makes you feel fuller after eating, which leads to a decrease in overall food intake.

Slower Gastric Emptying: It slows the rate at which your stomach empties, which helps you feel full longer after eating and reduces the likelihood of overeating.

Improved Insulin Sensitivity: Semaglutide helps the body use insulin more effectively, which can improve blood sugar control. Better blood sugar regulation may also reduce cravings for high-calorie, sugary foods.

Increased Calorie Burn: Some studies suggest that GLP-1 agonists like semaglutide can slightly increase the number of calories your body burns, though the effect is modest compared to its impact on appetite and food intake.

Semaglutide is typically used as part of a comprehensive weight-loss plan that includes dietary changes and increased physical activity. Clinical studies have shown that people taking semaglutide, alongside these lifestyle changes, tend to lose more weight than those who are using lifestyle interventions alone.
